LAHAN VILLAGE'S TALE

The flames die away and are replaced by a beautiful red-orange painting, consisting of stylish strokes in random patterns.

The painter, Fei, is dressed in gray baggy pants, sandals, and a white shirt with blue edgings. He has his black hair in a ponytail as well. He sets down the paintbrush and breathes a sigh of relief.

"Whew! That about does it…" He stretches and yawns. "Alright… Now time for a short break." He steps away and walks to his bed. He lays on it only to find his
secret stash of 200G. He pockets it and decides to take a short nap. He awakens and crawls out. He heads into the small hallway and heads west into a storage room. He opens a barrel and takes out an Aquasol. He chugs it down and wipes his mouth. "Ah that is always refreshing." He is about to leave when he notices a spider web in the corner. "!" He nabs it out of there but it sticks to his hand. He annoyingly jams his hand into his pocket, shaking the webbing off. He walks up the stairs on the opposite wall, waving hello to a maid in the other room. He walks up into the main room of the house. He sees a maid to the left in the kitchen and a group of people to the right, consisting of: his best friend, Timothy, his mentor and caretaker, Chief Lee, and… He walks up to Timothy and he turns around at his approach.

"Yo! Hi there, Fei. Sorry for us all using your house like this. But, we have to talk about the big day tomorrow with the village chief."

Fei replies, "Yeah, tomorrow, huh… Your wedding with Alice! Now that is a big day!"

His friend nods his head, "Yeah… right… But it still hasn't hit me as reality though."

Fei turns away and looks down. "Hey, errh, Timothy. I just want to thank both you and
Alice… 3 years ago, I woke up in this village without a trace of my memory… I didn't know who I was, where I had been or what I had been doing up until that day… I couldn't recall a single thing…" He lowers his head in memory. "Despite that, you and Alice sympathized with me and encouraged me to go on. If the two of you hadn't been there for me, I don't know what would have become of me…" He looks back happily. "Timothy… From the bottom of my heart, I thank you! Wow, you and Alice had better live happily ever after!"

Timothy laughs. "Hah! Quit it will ya! You don't have to go and get all mushy on me… Anyway to me, it feels like I've always been friends with you ever since we were kids." He turns to Fei. "And we will go on begin
friends forever, right?"

Fei grins. "Of course!" Timothy gets a concerned look. "Oh yeah, Fei… Could you stop by and check up on Alice? I still have stuff to discuss with my old man and the village chief. But I'm sure she'll be glad to have some company."

Fei nods. "Yeah, sure! I'll do that… Anyway, I'll see you later. Oh, and I am really looking forward to the
ceremony tomorrow."
